What Can I Replace Xantrex HF1800 With

Every time it gets disconnected because of unplugging shore power or a storm I get a E03 code and it just beeps, beeps, beeps. The unit only has two buttons. Status and select. I have no idea why it is so difficult. When I call, their answer is disconnect it from battery for a few hrs. Then connect. That's it. No sequence for buttons, they don't even get mentioned. So when I re-connect to the battery I still have E03. They tell me it's a wiring problem. So now I have to find someone to service this thing. Meanwhile my food is going bad. There has to be a better solution to keep my batteries (Lifepo4) topped off. Can you folks suggest other products that are not so troublesome? Something that I could actual see the status of my batteries and the same time. All this is just to run my Frigoboat. Thanks for letting me pick your brains.

There are several options out there that are worlds better than a Xantrex HF. Victron Multiplus or Magnum Sine can be programmed for Lifepo4 chemistry. I'd go with one of those series.
