According its description it provides 10% boost only. It will not save you in case of drop from 250 to 160.

RV 'quality' will not last on a boat and probably void your insurance if it causes a fire. You need to buy a boosting transformer. Prepare to spend around $5000. Hubbell makes a UL listed 15 kVA/50A. On the fisheriessupply.com website it is part # 1008805 $5099.99. Weighs around 200lbs in wooden crate.

True AC LINE voltage regulators are complex and expensive. We are not going to find any at the price that most of this crew can afford!

Re: Where are the shore power voltage regulators?

So it turns out the problem is definitely the inverter. My shore power does fluctuate, but nowhere the limits of the inverter, and the inverter is cutting out at less than half capacity at this point. Bypassed it entirely, and everything runs fine.

Very aggravation due to the size and weight of the thing. Pulling it out for repairs is going to be an adventure in moving really heavy things in tiny spaces with no hand holds. If it fits, I'll be mounting it in a much more accessible location once it's fixed.
