Re: Which controller.

Hi, I saw the prices and that's my problem. Right now I have around $200 for my initial controller to get things set up and working. I plan to get an MPPT later when I get a wind gen. but that won't be til next year. I am limited with the budget for now...sooo many projects going on...
Thanks a lot for the help...

Typically, a wind generator will require a dump charge controller, and an MPPT controller generally will not provide for that in any way. SO unless you've got specifics in mind that you know will work together, you may get a surprise and find your plans will require all new plans. And equipment.

Re: Which controller.

Hellosailor: I already have the dump load resistors and they will work with the Morningstar C45 for the wind...I want to get an MPPT for the solar...I like the Outback 60 for the price ($455)...but that will have to be after I get all these other projects finished up...I am totally renovating my Irwin and it can be a bit overwhelming at times even with a fair amount of free time to work on her...
Thanks for looking out for me with that...
Peace to all...
