Wind Generator Debate

Most people seem to dislike their Air X Marine generator due to the noise. I recently needed to replace the blades. Of course, being in West Australia, none were immediately available but I was promised they would have them in a couple of months. This led me to search the net, finding a company based in Spain called Spreco which manufactures carbon-fibre replacement blades for wind generators. They also trade under the name of Silentwindgenerators. They claim the blades are 70% quieter than the originals. I fitted them today and can confirm they are very quiet in comparison to the old blades and seem to be far more efficient, generating more power in lighter winds. Hopefully, money well spent!
