Xantrex Inverter Shuts Off

My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 lagoon 400. The former owner installed a Xantrex 2000 W inverter just before we closed on deal (survey requirement). The boat is in a marina on shore power while we do some upgrades. There is a portable refrigerator and an icemaker running off the inverter 24/7. Every few days when I return to the boat The inverter has turned off. I checked the manual and cannot determine why this is happening. Any thoughts or advice? Thank you

I thought inverters take lower volt DC (battery) and make it into higher volts AC (like shore power or generator). What type of electricity is required by the 'fridge and icemaker? Wouldn't being on shore power disable the inverter? Are boat and shore power same VAC and Hz (110/60 or 220/50)?
