Xantrex invertor charger decision

My 20 year old Xantrex 1500W inverter charger is no longer dependable and I’m looking to upgrade to a new Xantrex.
My choices are the -
Freedom SW 2000W - $1615 and 60.5lbs
Freedom XC - $808 and 16.3lbs
Freedom XC Pro - $1121 and 17.1 lbs

All three seem to have similiar performance oother than amount of power produced to charge the batteries. All are true sine wave, all have double the power available for 5 seconds to start heavyloads.
The SW weighs triple, costs double and I can’t find a direct comparison between the models to help me make a decision.
We’re on a 1982 Cape Dory 36 sailboat. We have 4 -6v Trojan T-125’s and need two more, 400W solar and 400W wind.
Any one have any experience in researching which is best?

Re: Xantrex invertor charger decision

Just went through something similar with the death of our old Heart Inverter.

The XC pro adds Bluetooth control and more bus integration options to the regular XC. The SW allows connection to, and (I think) management of an external genset.

Since we needed neither of these features we went with the regular XC2000. It was an easy near-drop-in replacement. Saved a bunch of weight and space compared to the old beast. No long term experience yet obviously but it's been running like a champ, much quieter and cooler.

Re: Xantrex invertor charger decision

Thanks for the info. My old one is a beast also so I’m assuming is comparable to the 65lb SW. It was manufactured Dec 2003 and still works, just not efficiently anymore.
