Would love to be able to buy an autoprop feathering propeller. With a hydraulic gearbox I cannot stop the propeller rotating by leaving it in gear and cannot allow it to rotate because the gearbox oil pump is on the input shaft and the output shaft bearing will be poorly lubricated. So unless I buy an Autoprop I have to brake the shaft and lose some speed. Quite the dilemma.

Actually was just talking to the wife about buying an autoprop. We're in the process of selling everything and living on the hook for awhile and this is one of the upgrades we were planning before we left.

Just put in new Beta 60 and have been looking at the sigmadrives. Basically look like a CV joint for the prop shaft. Cool.
