I am planning a 750nm cruise around Vancouver Island BC that will take me to some challenging anchorages. With tidal currents that can run/switch direction at 5 plus knots and storms that can pop up out of the Northern Pacific, I am thinking a new M2 anchor in the 45lb size would be an excellent bower to keep my boat safe.

A new anchor deserves a new bow roller. Like the anchor guard that will protect the boat bow from damage.

Beyond the fun of diving, when cruising there is just stuff that can happen that messes with you and your boat. A crab pot that hangs up on the keel, a plastic bag that gets sucked up into the engine through hull etc. all under water issues. How you going to fix them? Dive under the boat and either hold your breath or use the Mantus Scuba gear. That is where the Mantus Compressor comes in. Having a renewable air source may be the only way to fix your boat when a safe port is hundreds of miles away.
