Low Cost AIS Class B Transponders

Hi Everyone,

I've started a new Business, Neptune's Gear Ltd, With select gear that I've found, liked, and used on our voyages. There is some DIY info for Yachties, and some cool products..

Yes, I have paid my advertising fee on here!

We have opening specials on 2 AIS units, one with a screen HP-33A, one without HA-101b I think these are some of the lowest cost transponders available...

Also a really nice Tri-Color/Amchor/Strobe, LED (of course) and with a light sensor - turns itself off in the day, on at night. Used by the Vendee Globe boats, and compliant with the col regs for up to 50m vessel. See Here

Please PM me for details, or see the website! Comments on the site would be welcome.
Thanks for reading!

Matt

Re: Low Cost AIS Class B Transponders

What are the approximate shipping costs, duties, etc. for you to ship a transponder to an address in the US?

Thanks,
Jim

Re: Low Cost AIS Class B Transponders

Hi Jim, thanks for your response. Shipping approx $60, no duty, tax is state dependent. You would be responsible for any tax, shipping takes approx 1 week. Did I miss anything?
Cheers
Matt
