Info Needed for Passage from Mainia Chiapas to Bahia Del Sol

Dear Sailors:

I will be making a round trip passage from Marnia Chiapas, Mexico to Bahia Del Sol, El Salvador and back during a window of May 20 through June 1, 2017.

I welcome any suggestions experiences related to the weather during this time of the year, course, entry into Bahia Del Sol and other info. is also appreciated. This will be the first passage I'm making on Island Mistress, Wellington 47.

there are cruisers guides for this passage-- there are 2. charlies charts, and sv saranya.
both are good. find online or message holly scott for the charlies charts version.
bahia del sol is a bar crossing and you need the vhf info to call panga for information and guidance. enjoy your trip.

Figure out the tide at Bahi Del Sol before you leave because you could end up spending the night bobing around waiting for the next one. The window for crossing the bar seems narrow and they might not bring you in if you miss by even 15 min.

I'm aware of the tide issue entering and leaving Bahia Del Sol and will watch that closely.

I tried to get some info from Charlies Maps, but have not received a reply. From what I've seen on their website they don't have any publication for El Salvador.
