So basically saying it would be yesterday's news, [or rather yestermillieniums news].

It will take me a couple weeks to muddle through the 3675 pages of the full report .

( joking it will likely take me a month or more .

Michael Mann was granted his PhD in geology and geophysics in 1998 [Yale University], and his PhD thesis was titled "A study of ocean-atmosphere interaction and low-frequency variability of the climate system”, for which he was awarded the Phillip M. Orville Prize, for outstanding dissertation in the earth sciences.

What climate science work has Will Happer done?

Happer's academic career has nothing to do with climate science.

My freshman geography course included climatology and meteorology, as well as geomorphology, cartography, geology, etc..

Copied from Gord May's recent post to the Jokes Thread.

Meteorologists have weighed rainbows.
They’ve found, that they’re pretty light.

None of the people posting all of these "scientific studies" expect you to read or understand them. They want you to look at the pounds of virtual paper, and "accept" and "believe."

Here is a paper to read which is pretty understandable (for a scientific paper) and clearly explains why CO2 will cause warming of the planet and it's interaction with water vapor. No climate models involved.. just thermodynamics. The basic mechanism has been known for 150 years.

https://climateknowledge.org/figures..._BAMS_1997.pdf

You can say you don't reject the science, here is a chance to understand it.

The science doesn't tell us directly how to fix it. If we could invent a cost effective way to suck CO2 from the air, we could keep happily burning fossil fuels. Most people think it is easier to greatly reduce the use of fossil fuels than remove CO2, but perhaps they are wrong.

Experience has shown that people like you are either incapable of or unwilling to engage with the actual science. Your words put you solidly in the "unwilling" category.

Nonetheless, hope springs eternal, and people keep posting studies. Perhaps some day you'll finally get it.

To many mistakes and outright lies in that hit piece.

Do some fact checking and you will see

They must just throw darts at the board and drap it out of somewhere south of the belt line

The press release
https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg2/r...press-release/

The world faces unavoidable multiple climate hazards over the next two decades with global warming of 1.5°C (2.7°F).

Another prediction that won't happen .

Yep 99% of the MMGWC studies conclusions are wrong .

Re: US coasts sea level rise 10 to 12 inches by 2050

I don’t need to understand the details of "the science," any more than I need to understand specifically how my iPad or my cellphone works, before I send an email or make a phone call. But when the proposed solutions seem to call for massive changes, all right now, I’m skeptical of the solutions.

"People like me." How about people like you? It must be nice to believe that you’ve got all the answers.
