Then is the impact on climate.

Early temperatures would be obtained by historic proxy. Later temperatures would be by direct measure. But turning local measurements and historic calculations into global averages would have to be a highly imaginative process. The quality of such data is questionable. Apparent increases can be due to "heat island" effect that appeared with industrial development.

Even taking the data at face value shows that temperature did vary before large scale use of hydrocarbon fuels. So the graph confirms natural climate variation, and does little in favor of the theory of anthropomorphic warming.

3623 U.S. Economists
4 Former Chairs of the Federal Reserve
28 Nobel Laureate Economists
15 Former Chairs of the Council of Economic Advisers

support a carbon tax.

So what? You continually confuse quantity with quality. Lots of people think [fill in your favorite nonsense] so it must be right. On the other hand, when 75 million people vote for Trump, that’s derided as ignorance. Apparently quantity only counts if you agree with them.

Why did the Democrats in Washington soundly defeat a proposed carbon tax when it was put to them?

Oh, that's too funny. You apparently don't know which is quality and which is quantity.

Simple it's a politically charged word in using it they are attempting to connect us skeptics to the people that deny the facts of the holocaust.

Nothing more than optics .

"Industry capture of an unworkably bipolar political system."

Of course. I should have known. If you don’t get the results you want, it must be that the voters are stupid, or bought, or that the system is corrupt.

While this obviously isn't a court, it is full of feigned 'expert' liberal arts majors debating climate science.

Useless nonsense but entertaining and informative in demonstrating their:

1, ability to cherry-pick internet links.
2. poor judgment and

3. childish behavior when anyone challenges their perception. Some even get defensive and attack.

There is no consensus among climate scientists quantifying anthropogenic climate change. It follows that there is therefore no cause for action.
