Anyone in San Antonio, TX?

Ahoy all!
Havent been back over here much, tha JOB keeping me busy...but because of it I will be spending a week or so down in San Antonio in August, just wondering if there is any sailing opportunity that way? Anyone live or have a boat there that might have some info? (or offer a visit aboard of course

I do know will be about the hottest part of the year there...and I was there once but that was many years ago compliments of the Air Force...

thanks!!
Lora

Not much water around there. Canyon lake is about it. A lot of rivers with six inches of water.

August is horrible for sailing around here; winds are often nil and temps are always over 100.

If you can make it down to the gulf, you might be slightly better off, but not necessarily. On the other hand, a hurricane could come through while you are visiting...

Sorry, just priced the OP was visiting last August

Actually the gusts on the river walk are awesome when you are holding a margarita
