Re: moorings cats

As with any used boat, do an objective look over yourself and get a good survey.

My experience as a moorings owner who has also traded time on many of their boats, is that their boats are well used, but also tend to be fairly well maintained.

To know about dockage and documentation, it would be helpful to know where the boat is located, what country it's currently registered in and what country you wish to register it in. Many of the Moorings boats in the BVIs are U.S. flagships.

Re: moorings cats

Read the recent experience on the blog Zero to Cruising. They bought a Moorings 4600 and it was a positive experience. Lots of info on their website.

On purchasing an X-charter boat

Good Luck!
