1969 Cal 34 Sloop For Sale in Mazatlán Mexico

We are selling our small home away from home in Mexico.
1969 Cal 34, significant refits, truly in good condition.
Includes dingy and some spares.

See craigslist in Mazatlán Mexico for more pictures.
For Sale – 1969 Cal 34 Sloop Rigged Sailboat - $19,900

This sailboat is set up for long distance single or short hand cruising. Very simple sail plan for newer sailors or those looking for a simple set up. Currently set up with a V-Berth that sleeps two, dining table that converts into two person sleeping area and one quarter berth. The other quarter berth is currently used for storage but could easily be another berth again with an additional mattress.
Do not let the age of this vessel keep you from adding her to your short list of boats that you are looking at, she has been extensively maintained. I acquired her from the prior owner who sailed her for +35 years. We have owned her for +5 years now and are only selling due to our family size. We have recently purchased a larger sailboat that we are refitting for global sailing.
Some of the basics,
Power by a Yanmar 3GM 27 HP diesel auxiliary with ~1,430 hours. Recent service with new belts, oil, pump impeller and hoses. This engine is a serious upgrade to OEM, at 2,200 rpm cruises at 6 knot at less than ˝ GPNM yet retains a lot of energy to power through adverse conditions or currents.
• New Pro-Furl head sail roller furling with a new 100% Jib Sail, Main sail is in serviceable condition but I would plan on replacing it with in a couple of years. Nearly new spinnaker sail for light wind conditions. Most running lines are new. Installed new Mast Steps for easy access of the mast.
• When purchased she was pulled and the hull was stripped to fiberglass and re epoxied with 3 coats of hard barrier paint and then ablative bottom paint. Jan 2020 she received a fresh update on the bottom paint. Through hulls serviced or replaced. Since we have owner her she has been washed and bottomed cleaned each month year long. Summer 2020 we replaced all the non-slip on the deck and changed the color from a tan to light grey.
Monitor wind vane, Raymarine tiller auto pilot with complete spare, new quality Richie Compass. Scanmar emergency tiller system for the Monitor.
Icom VHF radio, Furuno NXT 4 KW Color Radar and 12” MFD with 2009 C+ Charts (easy to upgrade charts or use Navionics on your IOS devices like we do). New Pioneer stereo and outside speakers.
Interior mahogany was stripped and refinished along with new interior paint. Brand new head installed last year.
• 30 AMP Shore Power, brand new power cord. Large refrigeration runs off batteries or shore power. Double sinks - hand pumps and a 3 burner stove in the galley. 2-6 volt house batteries 200 AH, new AGM start battery, new Victron solar controller and new Mastercraft battery charger. 2-35W Solar Panels. Spare engine parts and misc parts.
• Full storage/sun cover.
Fiberglass dingy with a 2 hp Honda is included. Can be seen in the pictures.

Added 06-26-2021, also rebuilt rudder post and new lifelines.

This is a good boat and value and we are truly having trouble letting her go. The only things I am aware of that need repairs are one of the sink hand pumps and an antenna connection for the new vhf antenna (connector is on the boat).

USD $19,900

There's a lot to like in that boat! What are slip fees in Mazatlan?

Depending on Marina $360 - $530 (in a resort with pools, restaurants and very good security) MO plus electricity.
