For Sale: 1978 Islander Freeport 41’

Hello Cruisers!

I am sadly parting with my beloved Freeport 41’ “Okiva”located in Santa Barbara, Ca after 11 years of ownership.

She is in need of a motivated captain to complete her refit.

What needs to be done:
Replace fuel tank
Repair athwartships bulkhead in saloon floor
Replace cabin sole
Rebuild interior furniture as desired
Install engine, generator, electrical and some plumbing.
Paint

What has been done:
2017 Re rig of spars - new awlgrip paint, all new standing rigging and halyards, new mast electronics and lights, new compression posts, new strong tracks

This is a big project with even bigger potential. I sadly no longer have the income or free time to complete her.
This boat has previously sailed around the world 1.5 times and has been to 48 countries. She is a very strong bluewater cruiser.
I am open to all offers and have many extras available.
