1980 Ta Chiao CT 35

$24,999 currently in a slip in Deltaville, VA.

Unfortunately I'm having to sell my liveaboard. I had planned to take her down to the Bahamas and beyond this year but had to head back to land. She's a 35 foot Ta Chiao CT 35 built in 1980.

She's in overall good condition, no soft spots at all and well equipped with life raft/solar/Epirb/Dingy with motor etc. I had her set up to head to the Bahamas this year but unfortunately it didn't pan out so she's at a slip in Deltaville, VA ready to head down the ICW. She's Coast Guard Documented and the dinghy is registered in Maryland though Dec 18 I believe. The life raft holds 8 and doesn't need re-certification until 2020.

Only real issues are the water heater has a coolant leak, so I currently have it bypassed. The starboard lazy jack on the main came off the spreader and I haven't been able to go up the mast to fix it so I just threw some twine over the spreader and hung the block through that - not pretty but works fine. The anchor light went out about a week before I had to leave and I wasn't able to get that replaced, so I just used a west marine led light ran up the courtesy halyard. The only other thing is the XM antenna came unglued from the cabin top, it was just held down some 4200 that I had around, meant to attach it with 5200 but never got around to it.

Nope, she's still available. Currently she's on the hard at Deltaville Yachting Center. Launch is pre-paid.

Additionally something we noticed when we pulled her last month- there are some cracks on the rudder where the bands tie it to the rudder post. It's not falling off or anything and the rudder post isn't bent or anything but something to be aware of.
