1981 Albin Cumulus

Engine very recently rebuilt with very low (<40) hours. Legendary Norlin designed fractional sloop, cruiser-racer sister to the Vega. Very capable and forgiving to sail, these stout boats have a great following. Outfitted for single-handling with all lines leading back to the cockpit. Bob Perry has even touted their bluewater capabilities. Great value comes with full set of Z Sail racing sails and complete with all equipment. Recent bottom job and waxing with receipts. Currently on the hard up river from Old Saybrook CT. Ready to be launched (launch is paid for) and enjoyed this season. Can negotiate a new (unused) inflatable Zodiac with 3hp outboard and electric pump as well as a (paid) mooring on the Sound near Mamaroneck, NY, each for an additional fee. Message for more information about either. These boats rarely come up for sale and tend to get quickly snatched up by those who know when one does become available. Competitively priced for quick sale due to health. Asking $10,000 OBO.

Price drop. Asking $8500 OBO. Great sailboat that needs nothing in the NY/CT area. The newly rebuilt engine and racing sails alone are worth more than the asking price. Health unfortunately dictates this sale--it'd be a shame for no one to enjoy the boat this season.

BUMP

Price drop to $6500 OBO--it's a shame for such a great boat to languish. Alas health dictates this sale, hence the price drop. The racing sails alone are easily worth several thousand. Message for more information.
