Sailboat Partner - Forked River, NJ

I have a 1984 O'Day 28 that I have owned in partnership with a couple for the last 3 years, but they recently relocated to florida and wish to sell their half of the boat. So I am looking for a new partner(s).

The boat is in excellent condition and is currently in the water at our slip at Silver Cloud Marina in Forked River, NJ. It has mainsail, nearly new 150% Genoa, and a barely used Neal Pryde cruising spinnaker. The boat was repowered by the previous owner and now has a Yanmar 2YM15 with low hours. It has a shoal draft keel which makes it an excellent choice for sailing the Barnegat Bay, getting into good anchorages near shore for overnight stays, and makes it easier to navigate the Oyster Creek channel to Barnegat Inlet. We upgraded the navigation system two years ago with a brand new Raymarine Element 9 Chartplotter/MFD and Sonar transducer and I keep the software and charts up to date with an active subscription to Navionics charts.

The Marina has several sets of clean bathrooms and showers, picnic areas with grills, ships store, full service repair facilities, fuel dock, and pump out facilities. Mostly sailboats in this marina so lots of sailors to network with.

Sharing the boat has worked wonderfully for us these last 3 years as sharing both the maintenance work and the expenses makes it easier to spend less time working on the boat and more time sailing. I could also be open to a 3 way partnership if more than one person is interested.

Annual expenses total close to $6k each year, this includes winter haul out and winter storage, summer slip, electricity, use of the marina pool, insurance, registration, and normal annual maintenance (engine maintenance, bottom paint, fixing things...). I am also open to other options here - This total could be reduced by more than $2k if the boat were moved to a less expensive marina in the area.
