2004 Switch 51 for Sale

We are reluctantly selling NEKO, our 2004 Switch 51, which we've cruised and lived on for the past 4+ years. The Switch 51 is a performance cruising cat, with all the comforts of home. Sud Composites was ahead of its time by building a type of boat that is highly sought after today - lightweight, strong build with daggerboards and tall sailplan and good space and creature comforts. The ideal compromise between performance and comfort, without sacrificing on safety.

US$495,000
Location: Florida, USA
Please PM if interested or for additional information

Structure is all vinylester, with PVC foam core above the waterline, creating a strong, stiff, lightweight boat, and solid vinylester below the waterline, for protection from grounding and floating objects. Vinylester gelcoat for maximum protection from water intrusion. The Switch 51 carries dual daggerboards and a tall, high-aspect ratio sailplan, assuring good performance in light and heavy winds. She has mini-skegs to facilitate grounding and protection of the saildrives.

The boat has all the comforts of a floating home - air conditioning/heat, updated electronics, state-of-the-art electrical installation for use anywhere in the world, integrated wifi with router, washer/dryer and more. She has been continually maintained and upgraded by her liveaboard owners who are now reluctantly offering her for sale. If you are looking to sail far from home in style, the Switch 51 is for you - fast, great to look at, comfortable to live on.

Re: 2004 Switch 51 for Sale

Looks like the mast will not go under any ICW 65ft bridges. Is this correct?

Re: 2004 Switch 51 for Sale

From your photo #3, it looks like Neko is easily capable of 200 mile days. Is this correct?

This seems to be a nice example of a Switch 51. These don't come up for sale often. Good luck with the sale.

Cheers.

We do our fair share of them. That snap is from a recent run from Puerto Rico to the Southern Bahamas.
