2016 Atlantic 47 Mastfoil

My wife and I are finishing up our around the world sabbatical aboard Agility, and it's time to move on. This is our second Chris White Design boat, and I can't imagine a better yacht for a couple to cruise the Caribbean archipelago or circumnavigate. She's a safe, comfortable, fast and gorgeous vessel. This boat turns heads so if you want to be off the radar this boat is not for you.

We are in the Caribbean for the next two months finishing up our trip, and after that, we'll park her somewhere on the east coast where Chris will get the listing and properly market our boat.

In the meantime, anyone that is seriously interested is welcome to take a look and see what it's all about. We're in Grenada now and will work our way up towards Antiqua. You can also see exactly where we are at our website.

Price is a firm $900K.

Specifications:
Length 47’ 0"
Beam 24'2"
Draft 3'6"
Masthead from WL 64'
MastFoil (2) 165 sq/ft
Jib forward 430 sq/ft
Jib aft 420 sq/ft
Spinnaker Approx 1200 sq/ft
Cruising weight 20,000 lbs
Pounds per inch immersion: 1360 lbs

Sorry didn't put "Chris White Design" and "Catamaran" in the description.

Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous boat. If you don't mind answering, what is the spinnaker material and weight? Looks sort of like Lite Skin?

It is a Contender Sail Cloth called ZL, racing Code Zero fabric, very light but very strong. Highly recommended.

Made by Ullman Sails in SA.

Is the white band a UV cover - something like Sunbrella - sewn on? And if so, do you know what weight the ZL is? We want a cruising code zero. But something we can put UV cover on and leave up for months at a time. Most spin cloths are too light for a sewn on cover.

ZZ06/ZZ08 65g/m2 73 g/m2

Some sort of lightweight white fabric. Sunbrella’s too heavy.

Take it down if you don’t plan to use is for more than a day or two.

Your sailmaker can give you much better advice then me.
