25' Sea Ray Sundancer| $20k in mods for cruising - $14,900 (Seattle)

1993 Sea Ray 230DA Sundancer, specially modified and equipped for cruising. Over $20k in upgrades, with receipts, as well as extensive maintenance records.

$14,900 OBO (Price just lowered for end of season--making room this winter for a larger boat to fit my growing family and golden retriever.)

5.0 Mercruiser – Closed-cooling – Aux fuel tankMarine headGalley – Kerosene stove & heater– GPS chart plotter – VHF – Huge swim platform – Refurbished trailer – Just tuned-up and serviced – Set up for Achilles hypalon RIB on davits (also available for purchase)

Just serviced with tune-up, brand new lower unit, new exhaust risers, new seawater pump and new house battery, she is running wonderfully and ready-to-go for late-season adventures! Video is from 9/14, cruising at 29 mph at 3700 RPM, 2mpg:

This capable “pocket cruiser” has been in the family for over a decade. She has been treated not only to regular maintenance, but many, many upgrades and add-ons to make her versatile, suitable for extended cruising, and ready for all of the adventurous destinations the PNW has to offer. She’s proven herself as the ideal vessel while speeding around the lake to afternoon swim sessions and cookouts; anchoring throughout the San Juan and Gulf Islands; and during the occasional 2-month voyage through Desolation Sound and up to Princess Louisa Inlet!

At 25.5 feet LOA, she is truly a one-of-a-kind vessel with her upgrades—as capable in the islands as a much larger boat, yet towable by a Suburban or 1500 series truck to slip into the driveway on her rebuilt galvanized trailer.

UPGRADES AND FEATURES (over $20k invested in modifications and upgrades, with receipts)

COCKPIT and DECK
-New seats, all reversible: Helm seats (with flip-up bolster) swing to face the rear cockpit and dining table; aft bench swings to face the swim step for wide-open views and quick water access. Storage under helm seats.
-Camper Canvas (note: the back panels have not yet been modified to fit over the added reversible bench; in fact we rarely use the side panels at all.)
-Extended swim platform with telescoping stainless steel swim ladder, davits and removable supports for dinghy
-Custom-fabricated stainless steel mounting system supports the dinghy with or without the support rods (remove them on anchor or at the docks for unobstructed access)
-Added storage shelving under port gunnel
-Dinghy also available: Achilles Hypalon RIB on Weaver davits with outboard bracket. (Purchase cost for this RIB and equipment was about $4500 new, not including setup and installation. Price is $2k if purchased with the Sea Ray, $2700 alone.)
