We are giving away our 27 FT. 1972 Catalina sailboat. There is NO TRAILER. The boat is sitting on our dock in Colington Harbour in Kill Devil Hills, NC. It was struck by lightning 2 years ago(!) which blew our the electronics, so the fun little summer boat we bought to learn how to sail, quickly became a project boat that we unfortunately don't have the time to work on. It needs new electronics and through hull repair. Comes with 9.9 HP outboard motor that has been pickled, but needs solenoid which we have and can give you. One main, 2 jibs included. Great boat for someone who has the time to fix it up. Probably needs about $1500 worth of equipment.

I'm interested. I would love to have this boat. I'm a single mom and this is my dream. I live in Asheville, NC, but miss the beach so much and travel there as often as I can (I'm from New Bern, NC). Please answer here in this thread.
