38-50ft Cruiser w/Queen Berth - up to $200k

We are in the market for a 40-45 foot cruising boat on the US east coast. We currently own a Hunter 340 on the Chesapeake and we're looking to upgrade for longer-term cruising (up to 6 months at a time in the Caribbean, maybe longer). We prefer a quality/well-built boat that can be easily sailed by two vs the fastest club racer.

We spent some time looking in Annapolis & Deltaville last week. We looked at Hylas 44, Freedom 45, and Moody 42 center cockpit boats and couple larger aft cockpit boats (Catalina 400 and 470) with centerline queen berths smashed below the cockpit sole, There are a couple of contenders there, but most boats we saw were in rough shape. We scour Yachtworld regularly so no need to post links to boats you find there unless you know the boat personally and can provide additional details on its condition, history, and/or maintenance.

We're looking to buy in spring or early summer 2022, but if the right boat is out there, we could pull the trigger earlier. We're open to 38-46ft catamarans, but they are a bit un-reachable at our desired price-point.

Broad requirements:
- Shoal draft (Bahamas-friendly)
- Centerline queen berth or similar walk past pullman (like IP 420)
- US East Coast
- ICW-friendly rig
- Swim/dive-friendly transom - sugar scoop or steps
- < 27 years old (1995 or younger)
- <$200k USD
- Fitted for cruising is a plus, but not at the expense of a well-maintained quality boat.

If you know of a boat that may fit the above description, please let us know.

my Bristol 43.3 is for sale in annapolis. I spent the last two years making her ready for short handed cruising. ie electric winches and much more. Her name is Altair and she is on Yacht World, If I sell her direct there is no commision saving you 10%. Andy
