Triad, my 42' Newick Creative trimaran is for sale. Comfortable racer, Spartan cruiser. Very fast; reaches at wind speed, beats at 2/3; tops out a bit over 25 knots. Built by Freres Le Jeloux in La Trinite sur Mer, France in 1982, composite construction; fiberglass covered cold molded wood (W.E.S.T.) The first sailboat design ever equipped with both rotating wingmast and Bruce foils - a Dick Newick innovation. Extensive refit in 2021-22 including: 53' carbon wingmast painted with Awlgrip and rigged with new 1x19 ss shrouds and Argus 7/16" main halyard; boom ditto; new Dimension Polyant SXI squaretop mainsail with RBS battens; new electronics including Garmin GPS 742 Plus, Raymarine EVO100 autopilot, ACR Globalfix Pro EPIRB; Garmin GNX wind system; electrical system overhauled with new circuit breakers, switches and LED lights inside and out.
