Want To Buy: Antares/PDQ 44 FSBO

Hey all, Due to my (awesome) in-laws suddenly deciding that they want to go cruising too.. We're looking for an Antares 44 FSBO if anyone has one they think they might like to sell or knows someone who wouldn't mind having their info passed along, I'd really appreciate it.

Antares has just launchd a Factory Certified Pre-Owned program and the first boat has been listed. This is not FSBO but the commission paid by the seller under the program is substantially less than paid to a regular broker, so if potential savings are the motivation for your question this may be of interest.

The Antares/PDQ 44 owners group appeared pretty receptive of this program and owners may be moving that way right now rather than FSBO. I do not know of any FSBO boats but if there are any and you want to pursue it I can put you in touch with the person most likely to know of any. If so PM me.

I saw that boat was listed on yachtworld, and we're even in Ft Pierce at the moment, but it's apparently already pending. Otherwise we would be very interested.

In april i sailed 'seahorse' from grenada to her dock in stuart fl. the year before that i sailed her from guetamala to grenada with a stop in jamaica. I cannot say enough good things about that boat in particular. Quality of finish and systems and rigging is second to none... if you end up persuing seahorse in particular id be happy to answer any questions you might have.
