antique historic cruiser

Hello. I am searching for someone to convert this historic wooden cruiser into a unique and forever home. Here is the history: The antique dealer in Northern Michigan from whom we purchased the boat informed us that this was the first passenger cruiser used to transport passengers from Copper Harbor, MI to Isle Royale and local lighthouses on Lake Superior. Originally had twin diesel motors. Still has its' bench-style seats. The boat is constructed of MAHOGANY-highly resistant to deterioration. It measures 30 x 10 feet. Absolutely huge inside. Although the boat is old, it is not being presented to become sea worthy agaon. Amazing restorations have been conducted on boats and this one has the potential as well, but THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADAPTATION INTO A PLAYHOUSE, AN Airbnb, MAN CAVE OR A UNIQUE CABIN. C1920. Identifying watercraft numbers: MC4383BJ and Michigan watercraft number 0989858. Includes a heavy-duty, 3-axle trailer! We are asking $9500, but are open to serious offers. The boat is located near Viola, Wisconsin.

Re: antique historic cruiser

Here is a very watchable 35 min video of a restoration of a Herreschoff NY Yacht Club one design from the 1930s.
Truly an open checkbook restoration that is rumored to have cost close to $3m USD.

Restoring boats is a labor of love - I've spent a ton restoring my 1970 Wm Garden trawler. But it is not for the feignt of heart or anyone with shallow resources.
