I love the idea of a trailerable 36 foot cat. Really interesting boat.
I believe that's a Kurt Hughes design. One of his most creative, I expect.
Good luck.
Paul.

Thanks Paul. Yes, the hulls are Kurt Hughes, and he was the naval architect involved with the project, but itd be wrong to give him all the credit. Raphael Francke is the one who came up with the concept, and spent the money to actualize it being built.

Credit where credit's due. Raphael Franke did a heck of a job.
It's a shame there aren't more of your type of Cat around. It would make a great "one design". Since it's trailerable, it could be raced nearly anywhere there's water.
Good luck.
Paul.

Not only Mexico. You could do the R2AK (with a good chance of winning) and cruise the Inside Passage in summer, then fold it up, pop it on the trailer and spend the winter in Mexico.
Hope to see Brian again on an equally interesting boat.

These are really something. We had a guy on here a while ago asking about catamarans that he could tow. I was talking about this one when I mention he should get a foldable catamaran. This is really unique. Really something else. It seems like they would do great in production.

Brian, at that price u are giving it away. Wish u the best of luck Brian. What platform are u still thinking about next?
Brian, tell us a little bit about your power in your truck to pull such a long boat? When does your TIP expire? Will u be in San Carlos late May? I’m going down to San Carlos to cancel/renew my TIP for Quetzal. Any advice?
Take u out to dinner and would love to see your boat if possible.

Brian, my wife gets back May 22 from Beijing. Probably be in San Carlos about a week later and only stay a week at the longest. Get boat ready for summer storage

Heres some not so great pics of the interior.
First two are starboard hull. First pic looking aft at the settee area that can also turn into an extra berth. Second pic looking forward through the galley up into the forward single berth (which happens to be being used as storage in that pic).
The next two pics are the port hull. Looking aft to the double bed, and then forward to the head area.
The last pic is where the tillers are located. One here. Another one opposite side of the boat. Physically connected together.
Sorry. No layout diagram.

Timing may be perfect. Planning on San Carlos around June 1. I have 2 more years on the tip. You MAY need John to cancel the old tip himself. May be able to do that on line. If not, the canceling, and the purchasing I believe is done at KM 23. Not in San Carlos. Although maybe theres an agent there to do the work. I paid the extra $$ and used an agent to get my TIP in La Paz back in 2011.
Hope to see you!
