Dyer Midget - Dinghy

I am selling my 1982 Dyer Dinghy Midget. Original gel coat and wood, both in excellent (9.5/10) condition. All wood has recently been varnished with 8 coats of Epifanes Clear Varnish. New bronze skeg shoe installed.

Includes: 7 foot Shaw and Teeney Oars (recent varnish and leathers) and brand new cover. I also have a trailer (new: tires, springs, bearing, lights and wiring).

Dyer and Trailer - $2000
Dyer - $1500
Trailer - $750

I will sell the Dyer and trailer together or separate; however, I won't sell the trailer alone until the Dyer sells. Located in Punta Gorda, FL.

Re: Dyer Midget - Dinghy

How long is this and how much does it weigh? Can it support an outboard. I am very interested.

Length: 7' 11"
Beam: 4' 1 1/4"
Depth: 20"
Hull Weight: 83lbs
Capacity: 465lbs

Yes, it is designed to have a small outboard mounted (see photos of mounting boards). Most people seem to use the 2HP Yamaha. In fact, I have a 2 HP Yamaha that I've used with it that I could be interested in selling as well. It runs fine but idles a bit rough (needs carb cleaned).
