Endurance 35 cutter rig all aluminum design Peter Ibold built by Kingston Yachts 1981 US documented with CT Hull number. My age and physical condition require sale. Refit needs completion but most materials on hand to complete. Located in a Connecticut River marina. Fully equipped equipment list can be provided. Some personal items like sextant, chronometer, etc open for discussion. Must see equipment list as equipment value is equal to asking price of 10,000. Full set of set sails plus storm trysail, and drifter. Roller profurl, 35# anchor CQR, Avon, life raft, Sl555, plus plus. I go on line infrequently so have patience for response.

G’day Strabo, sorry to hear that you’re not going to be able to complete your project. I’m in Australia and not a potential purchaser but she looks like a tough little yacht, I repowered one of these alloy hulled Ibolds some years ago and was impressed by the strength of the hull, that one had a Volvo Penta 2003. Have you tried advertising her for sale on any of the other online platforms? It’s definitely worth casting a wider net than just this forum ( but a good place to start).

I genuinely can’t remember whether she had a flush aft deck, I even went back to old brokerage listings to try and find some images, my first thought was yes because she was built and used as a small expedition yacht that could survive in heavy weather and I don’t recall trying to get around the usual cockpit furniture to get the old engine out and the new one in.

Thank you for the reply. She is a sturdy craft. I just got too old as I had a business and the boat. Built a bow shed over her which was great as the weather had little influence on working schedule. Hope someone will get to enjoy her. Never visited Aussiland but maybe someday.
