Re: Endurance 44 GRP

By my rough reckoning.
The seller is asking for a price comparable to other, similar boats in the market.
However, it seems to me that this boat requires a complete refit and you're likely to be spending almost the same again, with no hope of ever recouping your outlay.
I was fairly interested. Until I did a very rough calculation. I would suspect that what I've concluded is why the boat remained for sale for so long and perhaps still is.
Am I being unkind?

Re: Endurance 44 GRP

I just had contact with the seller yesterday and was told the boat has been sold to the first person that looked at it.

No, not unkind, since you didn't make an offer. How you concluded that the boat needed a complete refit is beyond me. The boat is drop dead gorgeous. "The seller is asking for a price comparable to other, similar boats in the market". Perhaps you need to do a little homework. Especially if you're comparing it to a Hunter or Bene. While out actually cruising, I ran into two of these boats but 35 footers. The ones I looked at were made in B.C. and of superb craftsmanship.

I have no doubt. The asking price was way low for this boat.

1. I'm not going to explain myself to you. But, given your grasp of English
or lack of it. I'm not surprised that how I came to my conclusions is
beyond you.
2. Perhaps you need to make fewer assumptions. Did I say that I compared
the boat to a production boat? No.
3. The fact that you ran into two other boats from the same designer or yard,
means nothing in this context.
4. If you weren't so quick with your keyboard and allowed your brain to get
into gear. You might stand a chance in future, of not walking into holes
that you can't dig yourself out of.

Look who's calling the kettle black.

So Fratboy, you're a nothing more than a pompous tire kicker trying to pass yourself off as knowing something about nothing.

You’re a trauma psychologist? Is the trauma inflicted on your patients by you for study?

It was a legitimate question how you came to decide that the boat required a complete refit, and what numbers you used. From the photos the boat looked great.
