Serious buyer looking for a flicka 20 in good condition. Preferably in the uk, however I will entertain a potential sale in Europe.

If you can direct me to a more appropriate forum / individual it would be greatly appreciated.

Finding a Flicka 20 in the UK will be like finding a needle in a haystack methinks, and the same in the EU.. these are a trailer sailor US built and unlikely exported though some hardy soul may have sailed one across from there.

Well there's 1979 one for sale in New Bern, NC for just under $20K complete with trailer, you could likely fit the whole kit and caboodle into a 40ft container.. depends on how much your willing to splash.. they're not a cheap buy.

I’ve contacted a few sellers for flicka 20s on the east coast.

If I were to go down this route, could you point me in the right direction? How would one go about doing so? What are things to look out for etc?

On this I suggest you get advice from US members, there are a few here on CF who are in the New Bern/Oriental area who could point you in the right direction re buyers broker/surveyor etc.
I have bought a boat in the area myself however I flew over for my hunt and dealt directly with the owner so a different circumstance to yours.
Hopefully someone will come forward..

For Flicka related discussion you might try either their groups.IO discussion group or their Facebook group. There are very few Flicka’s in the EU, knew of one in the UK

Here's a thought, and I wish I was in a position to see it through.

Perhaps you could find someone willing to sail one across to you. Sure you could pay a delivery captain to do that of course. And that would probably be the safest and most prudent way of getting the job done. Or ship it as some have suggested. But I would imagine there might be an individual - or couple, or whatever - who has always wanted to cross the pond on a small boat such as a Flicka.

If my life were such that I had the time available, I would be interested.
