For Sale: Hughes 40' mid-ketch 1986 project boat $9,900

This is a project boat for sale as is. It has been in my family since Jan 2000. Our father was beginning a refit, but his health prevented completing the work.
She has a sound hull, engine, and sails. Thorough engine maintenance has been performed by Volvo mechanics in the past year.
Currently in dry dock yard which has work facilities available, and owner may live aboard during maintenance.
Location is San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico (Sea of Cortez near Guaymas). Has current USCG Certificate of Documentation.
Needed repairs include the main mast step to be rebuilt, chain plates and rigging, wood flooring, overhead liner, one of the heads, and basic hull maintenance and paint.
