Hello, we have a 1985 Kaufman 47 Cutter. After getting ours in 2016, I tried to locate others to get more information. We even contacted the Kha Shing yard, but they had no records. I finally spoke with Michael Kaufman. As he recalled, only 27 of the 47 foot model were built. Ours has a swing keel: five ft. up, and seven ft. down. We also have a teak deck that unfortunately is nearing EOL. Thank you michaeld for pointing me towards the Oxnard Kaufman 47. I've dropped
enquiries to the sellers with no response. Maybe the boat has been sold?

Hi michaeld the Oxnard Kaufman 47 is offered as a 1982 Kha Shing Kaufman 47. I'm puzzled as I understood Kha Shing started building Michael Kaufman's 47 footer in 1985/6. It leads me to think the boat could be a CT built Kaufman 47. Any thoughts or insights?
