Lazy Jack 32 Schooner 1975 - $27,900 Reduced/FIRM

First Time - Lazy Jack 32 Schooner - 1975 Reduced price $27,900 FIRM
Beautiful Classic Schooner
Built by Ted Hermann Company in New York
Designed by Ted Brewer
New Single Volvo Penta 55-D diesel engine installed 2010
New Sails in 2010
Exceptionally seaworthy and comfortable fiberglass boat set up for single handling.
Great Bahamas, Keys and Gulf boat with full keel that has 2'10" draft with centerboard up.
Major refit just finished.

My story: I spent 2-1/2 years refitting her - labor of love!
But just as we were leaving to go to the Bahamas I developed heart problems.
Sadly selling her for someone else to complete their dreams.
I have reduced her price greatly because I need to sell her.

Located on Chicamauga Lake on Tennessee River just above Chattanooga, TN. You can have it shipped/trucked to your home or take the route I was going to take to the Bahamas via the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway to Mobile and the Gulf.

Google "Lazy Jack 32 Schooner" for several articles that describe her. One good article is "O, How She Scoons!" by Good Old Boat.

She's really a beautiful boat. If I was in the market, I'd buy it.

That would be an ideal Bahamas boat!

Moonlit night under full sails, on a schooner in efflorescence water. Umm, the stuff of dreams.

Schooners FTW, there is something special about them that seems to light the fire to cast off and sail the seven seas. Probably because they were always boats made to go places and do things and not sit idle at the dock. Wonderful.

For some reason it makes me want to post this video. Not a Schooner, but David Crosby did own the beautiful 60ft Alden Schooner 'The Mayan' for 45 years that inspired many of his songs. And not unlike this Lazy Jack 32 she was also a centerboard design ideal for the Bahamas: MAYAN - The chronicles of our schooner: The Alden Schooner MAYAN

Good luck with the sale - 24ft on the waterline, nicely making way!
