For Sale: Luxury classic bug-eye rigged schooner

Schooner Dragut is the n.106 project by italian architect Carlo Sciarrelli.

The yacht is a 1:1 replica of 1736 dispatch schooner St.Ann (see H.I. Chapelle, The search for speed under sail, 1700-1850)

The boat was built in Venice between 1981 and 1986 by the famous shipwright Piero Crosato, who worked for Sciarrelli, Vallicelli, Sciomachen.

The hull is built on mahogany keel, and mahogany/Lebanon cedar laminated frames. The planking is in Lebanon cedar. Masts and bowsprit are the originals in spruce, the main boom has been replaced in may 2019 and is built in red pine by shipwright and classic rigger Claudio Fadda.
