Free: mk1 Morgan 42 Racing Sloop Hull #1

I recently bought a property from a friend of mine in Florida, with the property came this Yacht.

Aparently it belonged to Charles Morgan himself and only two Mk1 versions of the 42 racing sloop were built.
They were superceded by the Mk2 which was the production version.

Sadly the boat is in poor condition, it has sat on the property since May 2004.

It is fairly complete mast rigging, sails upholstery are all available. The engine has low hours and is I believe an Isuzu 26 HP, and was running well when delivered here.

I have not had the courage to go below deck for the last three years, but apparently it needs refurbishing.

I believe that the boat is still structurally sound. cosmetics are bad.

This boat is offered free, just ship it out of here, Palm City FL 34990, 27K Lbs, I am trying to avoid scrapping the hull as it does have historical value.

If anyone is interested let me know, the boat could be brought back, if I were a few years younger I would have refitted her myself.
If no takers then she will be going to the scrap yard.
