Of course, that's me on the "hard". My boat is still afloat. After reading this question I was motivation to answer it more extensively with a thread on the Liveaboard's sub forum titled, "What Work Ethic Works". This sums up my current battle with living on land.

Re: Morgan Out Island For Sale (Reduced)

I've had several questions as to whether this Morgan is a "walk-through" or "walk-over" for aft cabin access. Our Morgan like all of the 1973 and earlier Morgan OI 41s is a "walk over".

"Walk-through" advantages - quick access without climbing steps and possible exposure to weather without the fully enclosed bimini.

"Walk-over" advantages - more private aft cabin and larger engine room space.

I think a couple without guests or children would more often prefer the "walk-through". We enjoyed the "walk-over" with our two children having individual space split port and starboard in the aft cabin. For years after our children left home, we remained forward with our aft cabin for guests.

Like many boat features each choice is a compromise.

I like that walk over feature gives it that private aspect.
Also if I am right it gives more room in the engine compartment. Does't it?
