Want To Buy: Pearson 28 built 1985+ (aka Pearson 28-2)

Hoping for a good-excellent condition (no or very minor blistering, hopefully no major wet core issues) Pearson 28-2. Dead engine no problem though (planning on eventual electric/honda-gen hybrid conversion).

Reasons are I love the layout of this boat for coastal cruising to the Caribs and gunkholing somewhere for hurricane hideout!

The aft quarter berth and aft head both have doors in symmetrical alignment. The v-berth entrance frame (there's no bulkhead) looks like it was designed from "The Hobbit" and also there is a giant ice-box under the nav station. I only wish it had more opening ports and bit more galley counterspace but there's always a compromise

Anyone have one interested in letting theirs go? Or just to take a look, could definitely lend a hand on one in the northeast/mid-atlantic! I have a couple of 30 year old bottles of pisco for a sail too (think Peruvian Blue Label)!
