1984 Pearson 422. Center cockpit, cutter. Currently located MA

$40,000 FIRM.

First the bad news. Through hull failed, engine filled with salt water and will have to be replaced.

The good news. Before the problem this boat was turnkey. Just completed trip offshore FL to New England.

Equipment list:

- All new standing rigging 2021
- Sails: Genoa and Yankee roller furling
Main, heavy duty, three reef points, used two years
135 genoa. like new except needs repair to blue sun cover
Yankee, like new
cruising spinnaker; excellent to like new condition.
staysail. very good
- Harken roller furling, recently inspected and like new.
- Running rigging: very good to excellent
- Electronics all recent and in excellent condition.
Garmin 942 MFD
Garmin Fantom 18 radar
` Simrad autopilot
Vesper AIS
New Standard Horizon VHF with remote mike
B&G wind instruments
- Victron 2000/70 inverter/charger
- Victron isolation transformer
- Dual USB with 12V chargers in every cabin.
- LED indirect lighting, dimmers on main cabin lights
- Raritan PH, toilets with full size seats/bowls installed 2019.
- Gravity drain holding tanks.
- 140 gallon water tank">fresh water tank
- 5 gallon hot water heater
- 1600 BTU air conditioner
- Stereo with CD player, speakers in main cabin and cockpit.
- LED tricolor and anchor lights.
- Brand new 340W solar panel mounted on brand new Garhauer davits.
- microwave oven
- Force 10, four burner with broiler over.
- Very efficient refrigeration. 8-9 cu ft with freezer compartment. Frigoboat system with Danfos BD50 compressor. Box completely rebuilt with 4-8" insulation. Have a new controller for the compressor that needs to be installed.
- Simpson Lawrence electric windlass. Motor recently overhauled.
- New solid teak and holly cabin sole. NOT veneer but solid tongue and groove teak.
- Most of the interior wood work replaced or refinished.
- All plastic ports replaced with SS New Found Metals ports.
- All deck leaks addressed. Hardware removed, any wet core, removed and dried, hole refilled with epoxy and redrilled.
- All stanchions removed, mounting holes addressed as above, large SS backing plates installed, rebedded and reinstalled. Same with davit mounts.
- 4000 GPH emergency bilge pump. 1 gallon per stroke manual pump. Whale Gusher manual accessed from cockpit. Par diaphragm dewatering pump.
- Two 40 gallon diesel tanks
- Flexofold three bladed prop. New 2019. \

What else.

Bimini relatively new. Dodger in pretty good condition but both could use a new coat of water proofing spray.

Electronic controller and fan for the fridge need to be replaced. Both on hand.

House batteries new but probably dead. Starting battery new and good.

Bilge pump wiring needs to be redone.

Have been getting estimates in the range of $25-30 k installed for a new engine. For $40k and $30k for a new engine you will have a boat worth $90k or better.
