Raymarine Raynet to RJ45 cable

Hi,

Anyone have one of these lying around? I would like to buy one second hand.

Cheers

Re: Raymarine Raynet to RJ45 cable

I made one up myself the other day. I cut off one end off a standard Raynet line and crimped on a shielded cat5 connector. Use T568B.

Re: Raymarine Raynet to RJ45 cable

Incidentally I found this cable. I want it to connect to the end of my raynet cable into a computer, but I am not sure if the sex of the end of the raynet cable is right, and I am not near the boat to check.

Do you know?

That cable should be exactly what you need to convert a standard raynet to raynet to Ethernet. Here’s a photo of the standard cable:

Mean! Thanks. The little cable took a month to get here. I would have cried if it was the wrong one :-)
