Rigid dinghy

Dear Cruisers,

I am hunting for a hard dinghy around 9ft. Good rower, sailing if possible. Fatty knees, Oughtred Auk or similar. Nesting also considered. Location Netherlands, Belgium, Uk, France or Germany. Will collect. Regards, Frits

Re: Rigid dinghy

You don't know if it's a knockoff or not?

Re: Rigid dinghy

It was presented to me as a dyer dinghy when I bought it to use as a tender for my boat and It has all of the charachteristics of the boat but when I saw another one a year or two later, that one had markings on a plaque on the transom which this one does not have. It did not work as a tender for me because I am in my seventies and the freeboard of my Shannon is such ta\hat I would need to stand on the gunnel of the dinghy to board the boat and that is not as easy to do for reasons of stability as opposed to an inflateable. I will send pictures if you are interested

Re: Rigid dinghy

We've got a Bauer 10 & it's a great rowing & sailing dinghy. The Portland Pudgy looks pretty cool but I've never used one.

Hey @Scout 30, wondering whether you still have that Bauer 10? I know this an old thread/reply but thought I would see whether your mention was an active sell or just to mention you could unload it if someone was interested.
Thanks

Re: Rigid dinghy

Still have it & still love it. Would part with it at the right price but you'd have to be local. Where are you located?
