It was presented to me as a dyer dinghy when I bought it to use as a tender for my boat and It has all of the charachteristics of the boat but when I saw another one a year or two later, that one had markings on a plaque on the transom which this one does not have. It did not work as a tender for me because I am in my seventies and the freeboard of my Shannon is such ta\hat I would need to stand on the gunnel of the dinghy to board the boat and that is not as easy to do for reasons of stability as opposed to an inflateable. We've got a Bauer 10 & it's a great rowing & sailing dinghy. The Portland Pudgy looks pretty cool but I've never used one.
