S-2 8.0 27ft Sailboat $2,600

Boat is in Better than Good Condition. Cabin was recently updated by me. Original manuals that came with the boat when built (1978) in cabin. Manuals for all additional equipment in the boat in cabin.

Boat equipped with an inflatable dinghy that seats 4. (Dinghy may need a patch which is easily done) Dinghy comes with foot pump and oars.

27ft Stem-Stern.
35ft Mast (water line to top of mast)
Draft aprox 40”

Alcohol fuel cooktop
Cutting board
New sink (not installed)
New fused switch panel for cabin lights/bilge/running lights

I have had the boat for approximately 6 years. I bought it from a couple who lived aboard for over three years. When I originally bought the boat it was in serious need of some restoration which I have done. My original plan was to sail it to the Keys but circumstances prevented that. In my opinion, this is a “Blue Water Vessel” and can be safely sailed up/down the coast “provided the boat is kept within sight of shore” which was my plan.

She's not new but still has years and years of life in her. She has “good bones”. I believe that her sails are servicable. She comes with two Spinnaker Sails, one mounted.

There is no motor in the boat but I still have the original propeller (they are expensive!). I used to use a 9.9 outboard/kicker which was more than enough for getting from the dock to open water in the harbor.
