History* * * * * * * *

Purchased in New Iberia LA 2008 ,totally rebuilt at a cost of about 300k, rebuilt cabin, reduced fuel tanks to 3000 gallons, moved bulkheads to make large V-berth bedroom, swapped out 1271 engine for 871 engine, and customized to create 1000 sq ft*living space and 1000 sq of deck space; replaced bottom of what was the fish hold. Has been used as a houseboat in the San Blas Islands for the last 6 years. We are now getting too old for a boat this size and have moved to an apartment.

Necessary repairs: * * * * *
1. Scrape and sand bottom and keel coolers, check the condition of the steel, prime and paint. Keel coolers have two small holes that need to be welded.*
2. Install at least 20 x 20 lb zinc anodes every ten ft on the bottom.
3. Replace transducer and install stand-alone depth sounder.
4. Replace navigation lights; new *VHF radio*already on board. Repair SSB as desired.

This boat is a steel fishing boat, well-built and maintained, but is not a yacht with brightwork. It needs consistent upkeep. *To buy this boat you should be a competent captain/ welder/ electrician, and enjoy the pleasures of a large steel vessel. We've been on*it for 12 years and had a wonderful time.

Is this the same Lorenzo that used to post here as “Lorenzo B”?

Nice to see you back. I think I ran into you in Guatemala and complimented your boat.

Good luck with the sale. I’m still young and sailing otherwise yours is the type of boat that intrigues me.
