This vessel was on land when I acquired it. I rebuilt all of the systems on it to prepare it for long-term cruising single-handed from Kingston, Ontario, Canada to The Bahamas and back 2022-23 winter. Turns out, I get seasick in a way that prevents me from doing my work while underway, so this is just not a good fit for me for long-term, and it’s a shame to have a boat so well outfitted just to take out a few times in the summer on the river. So, I’m looking for someone who wants to do something special and make proper use of her and get something out of the work I put into it. She’s pretty well ready to go south again. Just load your stuff up and make her your own place.

I work online and so built this to have the best internet and ergonomic setup for computer work as I could. She’s a registered Canadian vessel, so the documentation is ready for international travel. Currently hauled out for the winter, this is the ideal time to take a look at her out of the water before I launch in the spring.

The Seafarer 30 is a well respected design, with good speed for the size and a solid structure. It will cruise along at about 6kn under engine or wind only and about 7.5kn motor-sailing. The interior is very open, with 6’ headroom, sleeping for 6 in a V-berth, two quarter berths, and two settees. It’s quite comfortable to single-hand as well, with 25’ chain and 200’ anchor rode, the anchor can be deployed from the cockpit. She’s seen some heavy seas and handled them well.
