For Sale: Spirit 28

We are selling our much loved sail boat Solace. She is a 1979 Spirit 28 designed by Bob Finch. The Spirit 28 was featured in the July/Aug 2017 issue of Good Old Boat, which concluded she is a “nice coastal cruiser or club racing, or both”. They compared her favorably with the Sabre 28 Mk I and the CC Mk III.

We have cruised up and down the coast of Lake Michigan and across the Lake to Wisconsin. We are comfortable with extended overnights or taking the gang out swimming at the dunes.

Reason for selling? We loved the sailing life style so much we are moving up to a larger boat.

The boat is currently kept in South Haven Michigan
