Ten After Seven and Allied 39

TEN AFTER SEVEN Allied 39 for Sale in Annapolis, MD Asking 20K

Not a Mistress. Allied 39s were US-built in 1970 as a CCA design, just before they went to IOR rules. Only 6 were built - 5 remain. TEN AFTER SEVEN is hull #2. She was made to go places: one boat is in Tahiti after crossing the Pacific twice.

Measurements are 39'10” x 10'6” x 6'. There is storage everywhere. Five batteries: 2 for house, 2 for engine, and 1 (dead now) for the windlass. She was built before they knew how strong fiberglass is and is solid. The electronics on her are older (the GPS will give you Lat. & Long. where your phone/tablet shows you) but they work. She carries 75 gal. of water in 2 baffled monel tanks in the bilge. Engine is a Westerbeke 4-107.

She traveled far with the first owner: almost to Greenland and through the Panama Canal. Second owner spent a year in the Bahamas. We have owned her for 47 years and covered the East Coast & half the Bahamas multiple times.

To our surprise we got old and the last few years she's been at a private slip in Annapolis. She is not derelict but she needs attention. Paint will help a lot. She is full of tools and spares and there are more to be had stored in our apartment ashore.

Owner can be coaxed to reveal secret lobstering spot in Bahamas.

Message me for more info I have on a restricted Google Drive page. (You need the link I'll give you.)

I believe forum rules state that you list a price.

Re: Ten After Seven and Allied 39

Thanks for the check, but it's in the 1st line. $20K. Should I spell it out. I've never listed a boat here before.

I believe if you look, you will find it in the third line, at the end.

Re: Ten After Seven and Allied 39

Are you an owner of an Allied 39? Please write to me again. We have tried to have an idea of where the other boats are and lost contact with 2. I'm working with another A39 to help set up this listing. And are in contact with 2 others. We don't have to be public about it as far as I know.

Had to look that up. We get one loon every fall in our creek. He stays for a couple weeks and then moves on. Disappointed that we never hear his cry.

I love everything about that boat, especially the toilet seat cover. I wish I were in the market....

Best of luck.

That seems like a heck of a deal. I have a pretty big crush on an allied princess 36 that just hit the listings. The forum has good things to say about them. and that price... new paint and some minor repairs....... I Love the icebox!

Re: Ten After Seven and Allied 39

Well, if you have a crush on an Allied 36, it could be true love with an Allied 39.

I'm trying to figure out how to add a few more pictures, like the v-berth without everything on it. The nav station, also.
Over this past week the engine was run to temp and the prop scraped. The current engine hours are 2400.33.
I have more information on a web page. Message me and I'll send the link.

Re: Ten After Seven and Allied 39

She does have class. Early on someone said, "You want a boat that is beautiful when you dinghy away and look back at her." She is not Bristol but paint will go a long way.

A tip on photography. Which 99% of people are horrible at. Dont do closeups of what youre interested in /tryong to show. It removes context. Stap back and take in more of the sirroundings. Peoples eyes and fingers will do the zooming
