Want To Buy: Want to buy a yacht 40-45 feet

Hi good day all
I am in the market for a sailboat in 40 to 45f size and want to be able to sail anywhere .I like the Catalina 42 and 400 because of one big room will be nice to live on for couple years .I don't know boats and if there are other makes that gives the same .I have to decide to go with cheaper boat and fix her up or to buy a 2hd used boat that is ready to go my budget is small us$100 000.
