Westsail 32 project

Westsail 32, Boat Number 313 (0175)

1975 factory finished,

Currently in the process of being refit: PROJECT BOAT.

We purchased this boat in 2014, with the intention of taking on the refit/restoration as a fun project. Our priorities have changed (we operate a farm and are building a house), and we simply never found the time. Our loss is your gain! We believe to have nearly all of the pieces, parts, fittings, etc to complete the refit. The parts alone are worth several thousands if sold separately.

Background: This boat was factory built in 1975, and was launched in 1977.

Interior: Unfinished. Dinette layout. To our knowledge, all of the wood paneling, cabinets, fittings, kitchen appliances, furniture, fixtures, and assorted parts to complete the refit are included. Includes two, 40-gallon stainless steel drinking water tanks and a 3-burner Force10 galley stove and oven.

Exterior: hull has recent Sterling paint job. Also has glassed-in scupper drains, and bronze round portholes: eight 8inch, and four 6inch. The decks have been primed and are ready for paint.

Engine: The engine is a 50-hp, newly rebuilt diesel Perkins M-50, with morse shift and throttle control system. Needs a wiring harness. Comes with two, new 40-gallon aluminum fuel tanks.

Rigging, sails, etc: Includes two sets of standing rigging, two sets of sails, and a storm tri-sail. Mast, boom, and spreaders are stripped and ready for paint. Mahogany bowsprit. Anchor is a Weems & Plath windlass.

$5500
