Noticed your listing when browsing this forum. Its been a while since you posted but possibly I would be interested in the boat. We are looking for a comfortable & fun to sail yacht of this size. Also it would give us a change of waters. Is the yacht still on the market?

Re: X-Yachts: X-512 Hull nbr 5/17

Hi I noticed your 512 is still for sale and is well cared for with a great inventory. I am looking for a performance cruiser to live aboard and sail extensively but apart from long passages we wanted to sail with just 2 of us. It looks like the 512 is not easily manageable short-handed, no hydraulic winches? Is that correct? I'm thinking a 482 would suit better, what do you think?

Re: X-Yachts: X-512 Hull nbr 5/17

We are a couple , 57 year.
Jonathan keeps us in perfect shape [emoji4]

If you want you can mount a motor on a winch.

Jonathan is not hard to handle more than 481, but If you are looking for an more easy-to-use boat, It's better to look different ones than Performance yachts. (except some Performance that have it only in the name)

We sailed more than 25000 miles, 90% in two in 9 years and now we're plan to sail up again in USA.

Probably we will mount a motor in one winch at 60 year [emoji4]

P. S. A performance boat can be trimmered and be tamed, it's not working on the other way.

Ciao.
Stefano

Hi Stefano

That's good to know, I do want a true performance yacht. I'm not quite ready to buy yet but I'll be watching the ad's for Jonathan and if she's still available I'll be back to you.

Thanks Matt

Okki,
We are sailing with him, no need to sell because we need money.
When we will get a reasonable offer, we can think about.
Fair wind.
